I am a retired professional, with simple tastes and lifestyle. What you see is what you get - a "no games" person, willing to try anything at least once. I love animals and I am flexible & calm (normally even tempered) and have an easy-going nature. I am adaptable to most situations and living conditions and approach life with an optimistic - the “glass is half full” - viewpoint, with the desire to live life fully every day, with no regrets. I am handy around the house and normally capable of fixing most things. I am affectionate, love to hold hands, walk arm in arm, kisses for no reason, give & receive backrubs, etc. I am independent, and can live alone easily (i.e. I do not "need" someone), but prefer the company of an intelligent lady to share life as opposed to being alone all the time. I am most comfortable in shorts or jeans and a golf shirt (but do not play golf), but can and do "clean up" and will wear a coat & tie if the social situation dictates it. Oh, in case you wondered, the picture is recent (within the last 18 months) and yes, I still have the beard. Lastly, I recognize that everyone has to make some adjustments in their lifestyle when they bring another person into their life.
